This is a reprocessed version of the SDDB documentation with links to the definitions of each table placed on a page for each record type. It is designed to make online consultation easier. A search function will eventually be added. We also have the original documentation

Notes
For record types 1, 2a and 2b, there is one record for each school district. The variables show the demographic characteristics of the district.For record types 3 through 7 each district is represented by 42 separate records of each type, corresponding to combinations of enrollment status and age or grade level.
