item_code:
  1.  This column includes three segments National Drug Codes (NDC), two or
  2.  three segment National Health Related Item Codes (NHRIC) or the
  3.  facility and product description International Society of Blood Transfusion codes (ISBT).

ndc11:
  1.  The NDC11 is a transformed version of the segmented NDC code using the
  2.  algorithm defined by the National Council for Prescription Drug Programs (NCPDP).
  3.  Three segment NHRIC codes have also been transformed following the same algorithm.
  4.  Two segment NHRIC and ISBT codes have not been transformed.

proprietary_name:
  1.  Also known as the trade name. It is the name of the product chosen by the author.

dosage_form:
  1.  This column contains the dosage form as manufactured.

marketing_category:
  1.  The author chooses a category that most closely describes the FDA regulations
  2.  for marketing the product.

application_number:
  1.  Some types of marketing categories may be associated with FDA assigned numbers
  2.  (e.g., NDA123456) or regulatory citations (e.g., part348).

product_type:
  1.  The author chooses a type that most closely describes the product (e.g., Vaccine)
  2.  associated with the SPL document.

marketing_start_date:
  1.  This is the date the author indicates when it started marketing the packaged product.

marketing_start_datenum:
  1.  This is the date the author indicates when it started marketing the packaged product.

marketing_end_date:
  1.  This is the expiration date of the last lot distributed. Products that are
  2.  actively being marketed will not have a marketing end date.
  3.  Products that are no longer manufactured may have a future end marketing date
  4.  for the expiration of the last lot distributed.

marketing_end_datenum:
  1.  This is the expiration date of the last lot distributed. Products that are
