The file nber.bib is a bibliography of all working papers, technical working papers, and similar series for the National Bureau of Economic Research for 1974 to the present. It is updated at least once a month with new papers, and the place and date of publication for older papers as they are published. This is the same database used in the NBER WWW site at: http://www.nber.org/wwp.html
The bibliographic file is always available from: ftp://ftp.nber.org/bibliography/nber.bib Much the same information is available in RePec format at ftp://ftp.nber.org/RePec.
